Class Overview

  • This class focuses on improving speaking skills, fluency, and comprehension. The main emphasis is on practical communication, with activities designed to develop pronunciation, intonation, and confidence in everyday conversations.

  • While grammar will be covered briefly (20-30 minutes per session), it is not the primary focus. We’ll also incorporate reading dialogues and other texts suited to your level, along with writing sentences to reinforce grammar concepts. These activities will support the speaking practice. The teaching style is informal and engaging, using games, activities, and speaking topics to keep you motivated and involved. Each week, we’ll read short texts, engage in discussions, and practice vocabulary in context.

  • Homework tasks will be optional and not checked due to time constraints, but completing them will help reinforce what’s learned in class. Students are encouraged to study independently using the resources I provide and come prepared for a 15-minute review of the previous week’s material. As the class is non-accredited, there are no exams or tests.

Ultimately, it’s up to you to take responsibility for your learning and practice outside of class to see improvement!
